A Wet Day in the Neighborwood
Nick and I drove back up to where we went camping last weekend to find his long lost camera. Today was a perfectly typical fall day in Oregon. It was full of rain, trees shedding their leaves, and the fog clung to the mountainside as we crawled though her domain. It was the perfect meteorological setting for that subdued disappointment of not finding Nick's camera bag which loomed overhead.
Honestly, the trip was no more successful than I had anticipated, but it was certainly less successful than I had hoped it would be. Nonetheless, I got a few pictures out of the deal. The trees are even more colorful than last weekend. Streams are noticeably filling and puddling have sprung out of what was a mere impression in the ground a week before.
Check out the new photo gallery I am setting up of my Fall 2009 pictures. Why do I enjoy fall so?
